Rouse has collaborated with the Tennenbaum Insitute at the Georgia Institute of Technology to create a healthcare simulation game, Health Advisor. Rouse contributed to the project as a playwright, and created characters and dialog for the game.

Health Advisor was a 2007 finalist in the international competition Why Games Matter at Changemakers.net.
