Bio and CV

Rebecca Rouse earned her MA at York University's Communication and Culture program where her research focused on augmented reality technology and theater. Rouse holds a BA in Theater Studies and German Studies from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and has studied at La MaMa Experimental Theater Club in New York City. Rouse's background includes extensive theater, film, and TV experience as a producer, director, playwright, lyricist, and performer.

Current work by Rouse includes projects with the Digital Performance Initiative in the Wesley Center for New Media at the Georgia Institute of Technology, the development of a storyworld experience in SecondLife with Professor David Jay Bolter, and continuing collaborations with musical theater composer Brendan Padgett.
